Sweetback! began with a single event in the summer of 2007 and immediately became a monthly gathering of enthusiastic funk, disco and rare groove lovers from the Greater Toronto Area. After a small hiatus and a change of venue, Sweetback! returned in 2009 on the Last Friday of each and every Month.
Sweetback! offers guests like you an opportunity to dress up funkadelic, dance your ass off proper and enjoy the mostly rare or forgotten selections of afficianados: The White Falcon, The Jive Express and Platform Shag.
